10 Little Big Things... Can I Just Paint my toe nails without almost passing out.
This road trip is not going to be easy so I thought I share my 10 things with you so you don't get annoyed with me when I start posting swim suit pics of myself when I reach my goal weight. 😁😁😁
Some of the things I'm really looking forward to on this journey may seem like pretty simple things to the average sized person but these are my daily struggles. Simple or not, I know that once I'm able to do these 10 things I will be well on my way to reaching my goal.
1. Going up stairs without having to catch my breathe.
I remember at our previous offices I use to stand outside our office door for a few seconds so I could breathe. I didn't have a problem playing it cool until I reached my office which was through reception but the only problem was if everyone was there. It's pretty hard trying to say hello and have a conversation about the traffic whilst trying to breathe at the same time.
2. Side swiping shoes and socks
Some plus sized people have flat/ small tummies unfortunately that's not me. I have a bulging belly meaning having to put on shoes with buckles or laces means I have to put my leg on a couch and tire em up, that really sucks. So can I just lean forward rather than sideways.
3. Wearing Jeans or any pants that have a button.
Another belly chore is having to wear elastic everything. I love jeans but they never get past my lower belly so I stopped buying em. The immediate alternative is leggings and elastic pants and I'm so over them.
4. Buying (NICE) lingerie
I walked into a retail store in December looking for underwear and was so disappointed to see the difference in variety for plus sized woman. I looked ahead of me and the average size options where more appealing to the plus size options. I mean I'm talking lots of colors, designs and patterns. Then behind all that wonderland stuff was all these dull colored pieces of material and I was like "are these people serious"? So I can't wait to fall in love with the item then find me size and buy it instead of look for my size, decide if I like it and buy it.
5. Sitting like a lady
Can I just sit like a lady from my thighs down and not just my leg, without breaking a sweat!!!? It's almost impossible, my body shuts down. Cramps, aching muscles and a pain in my back because everything in my body is trying to stay put. Plus when I get to this point my bible bag won't slip of my thighs at church. Haai ngeke sbale. (Hut damn) [sp].
6. Packing light
I always find it amusing when average sized people ask why I packed my whole wardrobe. Like? Girl have you met me? My one outfit fabric can make 3 outfits of your skinny ass, so sit down.
7. Shopping
Going shopping is one of those things for me. I never plan to go shopping because I end up so disappointed. If I find something in my size I buy the same thing in different colors, that's so whack. Don't get me start on online shopping, I am the boss of window shopping online.
8. Flying
Ok I'm not a flight risk but I always have to worry about flight seat belts in small planes. Yes they are adjustable BUT adjusting the belt right up to the end is embarrassing.
9. Eating in my car
I know it's bad but I always forget to eat so I'll drag something on my way home. On route I always get called out by taxi drivers for eating to much, like? Excuse me I'm trying not to die of hunger. I feel like if I was average size they would say "agh shame she must me hungry". Im sure the next person that sits on my seat is like "hut damn, the person sitting here before me must of been preggies"
10. Wearing a two piece swim suit
I have enough swimming costumes BUT can I just wear a bikini. This has always been my main reason for getting slim. I live inland so a vaycay for me is anyplace with a beach. On some Bay Watch vibe. lol
To most people reading this, it may seem like small things but for a big girl like me these are examples for little big things.

Take 2, 4 (Scratches out) [New Title] ANOTHER TAKE.
So here I am again. Wondering why I let myself go
(booo hoooo poor me) *side eyes*. Its been just over a year since I started my
road trip to the 60's and tjrrrr I hit a big pothole and found myself creeping
up the scale once again (I know I was just a surprised as you). Yes, I’m super
disappointed and even more disappointed that I allowed this to happen but I am
going to give it another try.
At the back of my mind I knew/ know that at some
point I would need to regroup and try again as I type this post I am reminded
of an image I saw on instagram which read, "Get Thin or Die Trying". That’s
where I am right now and I am even more determined to see this through...
again.
I have re-evaluated what I want, how I am going to
archive it and what needs to die for me to make it. I’m stronger then I was
before and have so much more to loose, like my muffin top, yesterday this thing
has a life of its own, I swear it does!!!
Let me keep it short and take this opportunity to also
thank everyone for the support, messages, tweets, inboxes on facebook, I really
appreciate your feedback.
Here we go...
In other news, here is a recap: - (will post a pictorial
recap in my next post)
Staring weight was: 120,95kg
1st Weigh in (4 weeks) I was at 111,90kg - HAD
LOST 9,05 kg
2nd Weigh in (8 weeks) 105,10 kg
3rd Weigh in (12 weeks) 100, 20 kg
So in 3 months I had lost 20, 25 kg which was
pretty awesome. *air punch*
So now I weigh 116,5 kg, which in MY OPINION is
not that bad considering where I started.
So the goal hasn't changed, the plan is still to
reach my GOAL WEIGHT of 60-something meaning I have about 51, 5 kg's to go.
My timeline is 12 months but I am chasing a June
deadline, I have a bikini to fit into by then and YES muffin top a bikini is a skimpy
two-piece. *Drops Mic*

DAMIT I WAS DOING WELL :(
Quick pic-post to reflect on how well I was doing, #SMH
You may not see the difference but for me it was HUGE!!!
1. For the first time I could sit like a lady (yes 4)
2. I didn’t realize but clapping during praise and worship was easier somehow.
3. Less huffing and puffing up and down the stairs
4. Not breaking a sweat just coz the sweat wants to break.
Considering I had lost about 20kg's in 12 weeks, glad to be bouncing back.
If you say muffin top be moved and be cast into the see, it shall be moved. It is written!!!

Whats for Lunch: HOMEMADE PIZZA
CHEE-ZAA
What you'll need: -
Mozzarella cheese
*Onion
*Mushroom
2 Cracker bread
* your portion based on meal 1 or 2.
How to:
*tip - Always use a non-stick pan, it must say non stick otherwise "eish" your struggle with the melting cheese.
Preheat you pan and spray some cooking spray, (refer to cooking spray post)
Add your onions and keep the heat low so they cook, add 2/3 tablespoons of water so that they brown nicely.
Add your choice of seasoning.
Once browned add your mushrooms and let them cook.
Slice your mozzarella cheese into long thin sheets.
When the veggies are soft add cheese and let it melt.
Once the cheese has melted, mix everything together so that it becomes one lumped topping. And Vwala.
For immediate serving: - lay your cracker breads on a flat surface and pour out the mixture on your cracker bread.
If you are pre-cooking: - Dish out the mixture into you scaftin (lunchbox) and wrap the cracker break with foil. When ready to eat lay the crackers on a flat surface and scoop out the mixture onto your bread, microwave it a lil so the cheese melts.
This is because cracker bread is very airy so once it meets moisture it shrinks and gets all bent out of shape. And you don't want that.
And that's it.
