So you are probably wondering what happened to me and my road tripping galavanting days well in 2 words DEZEMBER HAPPENED. It was like war. Man vs. Food for real. December is a time for the 3 F's ke Festive, Family and FOOD!
Try picture how difficult it was for me explaining to my grandmother that "Sorry koko mara nna a ke apiye ngwga o" (Sorry grams but Im not cooking this year). She wouldnt hear any of it. Each year my family and I take the great trek to ZB Moletlane in Limpopo to spend Christmas with family, unlike white people who go on holiday we go home. The routine is simple Wake up, Cook, dishes, cook, dishes, cook, dishes then sleep and then its January.
The moment you wake up we are preparing for breakfast while washing the breakfast dishes someone is peeling the potatoes for lunch while thats happening, the meat for supper is defrosting and been prepared. ITS A VICIOUS CIRCLE!!!
So... Now it's almost June and I am noticing changes, those jeans that I was so excited about are not so loose anymore, so I decided its now or never.
Yes I said it... There is no glamour in being big, no glamour at all. Im not saying don't be proud of your junk and all but please tu... I can't dzeal....
So here goes, im currently on day three and thingz are cool...NOT, already had my first test on day one, but panic NOT, I survived.
